Register as a Steward for MMitD 2024

Interested in helping out at Medieval Music in the Dales this year?

Medieval Music in the Dales simply can’t happen without its team of Stewards.

You need to be able to offer at least 20 hours of work, spread over the period of setting up for the Festival, the Festival itself, and the Festival take-down. Jobs include setting up, supervising the parking and camping areas, retail and ticket sales, managing admission to concerts and workshops, working in the Taverns, cleaning and clearing, and providing lifts.

In return, you get

  • a free Festival Pass. This allows you to attend daytime concerts and workshops, but you will be asked to specify in advanve which things you particularly want to attend so that the rotas can be drawn up appropriately. We can’t guarantee you will be able to see or do everything you want to, but will do our absolute best.

  • Food vouchers to a total of £45 to use with the festival caterers

  • Free camping at the festival OR £25 per night towards accommodation off site OR 25% off Festival Glamping (depending on availability of course)

  • Three drinks vouchers to use at the festival Taverns

  • As much tea, coffee and biscuits as you can take

  • A copy of this year’s Festival CD

  • That warm glow of being much appreciated

If this is your first time at Medieval Music in the Dales, you’ll need to go through a reference process, and there’s a place on the form to provide details of someone who knows you well, ideally in a work situation.

Fill out the form and we will be in touch!
