Being a Friend of MMitD is the best way of supporting Medieval Music in the Dales on an ongoing basis. The regular subscriptions of our Friends are really helpful in ensuring the continued success of our Festival. There are three levels of membership:

  • Individual Friend - for any individual who intends to attend MMitD regularly

  • Friends Couple - for any two people who intend to attend MMitD together

  • Friend From Afar - for anyone who wants to support MMitD but can't make it to the live festival in Yorkshire

Basically, you pay an annual subscription - which we hope you will maintain year on year, but you are of course free to cancel at any time - and this annual subs is essential in maintaining the Festival on an even financial keel. Be assured, your subs help immensely with the planning and administration of the Festival by ensuring a regular - and crucial - level of funding each year.  In return, Friends get a package of benefits.

  • INDIVIDUAL FRIEND AND FRIENDS COUPLE: 50% reduction on Festival Passes, Camping, Evening Concerts, Study Days. Don’t forget, with a Festival Pass you can attend as many workshops and daytime concerts as you wish.

  • INDIVIDUAL FRIEND AND FRIENDS COUPLE: priority early bird booking for the Festival 

  • INDIVIDUAL FRIEND AND FRIENDS COUPLE: advance entrance to daytime concerts, meaning you can pick your seats before everyone else

  • ALL FRIENDS: freebies and discounted merchandise at the Festival and in the online shop 

  • ALL FRIENDS: 50% discount on online events

  • FRIENDS FROM AFAR: free entry to online events
