This 9-month course features a monthly session on all sorts of things musical and medieval taking place 6.30-7.30pm on the last Friday of each month (for the most part)

April 25th: The Cantigas de Santa Maria

May 30th: The music of the Italian Trecento

June 27th: Ars Antiqua: the polyphony of the Notre Dame School

July 25th: Ars Nova: Machaut, and more

August 29th: The music of Adam de la Halle

September 26th: The music of Hildegard von Bingen

October 31st: The Italian Lauda

November 28th: The music of the troubadours and trouvères

December 19th: Latin secular song throughout the Middle Ages (including Christmas songs!)

Each session will feature lots of singing and playing, as well as informative tips on technique, background theory, reading notation and other useful information

Tickets:

• £50 for the whole course of nine session
